Bead frenzy

Lewis Carroll's immortal Alice (in Wonderland) once said "What is the use of a book if it doesn't have any pictures in it?".

I think Alice was indeed a smart girl. Also, tonight I'm lazy to type after a marathon of typing at work these past two days. So without further ado, here are some new pictures... and a rehash of one that didn't come ou right the last post.

First off... the floating necklace, tripled stranded, in pearlised powder pink and gunmetal beads.

Up next, is a woven bracelet, using glass and tube/bugle beads. I dig the icy green colour and turquoise, so here's said bracelet, tagged as Sea Foam.
You will see two alternate views, one conveniently draped across my oh-so-elegant-with-tiny-wrinkles wrist. The other over... uhhh.... my camera cover. *gulp*

Here's a bracelet with wire links. Getting wire to twist at first was a total pain, but I think I got the hang of it in the end. Called Smoke at Midnight.

Last but definitely not least, here is my SECOND original design (first being the Vampire Bat bracelet) ... a pair of earrings for my friend Hung Yee. I used fire-polished glass bicones, tiny Japanese delicas and some longish twisting looking beads, plus, of course, artful twists of my brain and wrist, buahahahaha

I was so hard pressed to find a proper name for it... it has a little bling of its own, with the sparkly brown and the glint of the bicones. As I am quite fond of Hung Yee, I also liked the colour scheme because I thought it was so her... very grounded yet with a personality that sparkles. So I was trying to call it something like Little Darling, or Cutiepatootie (which is what I call her sometimes haha). In the end, I just settled for her name... so here are the Hung Yee earrings.

p/s - Hung Yee has now dubbed herself Princess Hung Yee with a Royal Jeweller. mppphhhhhhh

I loveeeee the floating necklace, very soft colour, pink and grey.. you are really smart in combining colours.

Are you also going to start making those jewellery with white gold? Then I'll be your first customer. No wire lah... LOL
